The Government of the Province of Saskatchewan is involved in a number of activities related to climate change. These include: public education and outreach, energy conservation and emissions reduction, carbon sequestration, research and development and adaptation to climate change impacts. The Ministry of Energy and Resources is the provincial department responsible for the development and conservation of provincial energy resources.
