Share the Warmth

September and October 2006 will mark the second annual Share the Warmth Home Energy Efficiency Project. SaskEnergy hopes to make this year's Share the Warmth initiative another huge success by inviting communities to participate. Energy efficiency improvements will be made to 500 Saskatchewan homes. SaskEnergy and the Salvation Army are recruiting volunteers from your community for the following dates and locations:

Volunteer teams will be asked to perform duties such as:

- Prepare windows and doors for winter with caulking, shrink film and weatherstripping

- Replace standard light bulbs with compact fluorescent lights

- Replace a furnace filter

- Install gaskets around light switches and plug ins

- Install programmable thermostats
