Activities and Opportunities for Youth

Energy and Environment poster contest is an annual contest produced by Natural Resources Canada's Office of Energy Efficiency (OEE) and is targeted at elementary school-age students and their teachers. The poster's art work is collected through the nation-wide Energy and the Environment - art contest and one winner is selected from each province and territory in Canada.

STUDENTS ON ICE - SOI is an organization offering unique learning expeditions to the Antarctic and the Arctic. Currently, ten "Students on Ice" have the opportunity to consider the links between climate change, the arctic environment, and the need to reduce GHG emissions. Hop on the "Floe Edge" yourself by reading accounts of students adventures, learnings, thoughts and impressions!
